This pic has born from a long boring week studying Picasso for my Monday next exam. I'm on the "Hellboy" mood these days, thanks to buying (and watching a couple of times) The Golden Army DVD edition, so it's not very strange I had the idea of drawing Hellboy before Hellboy, in his premature days as Anung un Rama, the Beast of Apocalypse. I made the sketch by pencil, and then, cause I observed it looked very good in that way, I decided to aply colors directly, and not inking first instead. And I must say this is the first time I'm happy with a pic made in this way .
This time I have no complains about the scanner, cause I must admit it gave the pic a very interesting finish look. Personally, I like it a lot.
We love horses, we love drawing, we love gifts, AND we love Christmas. We're gonna combine all that to make Christmas 2009 on dA a seriously awesome one!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
